Hurricane Dorian 8.29.19 Update

We are watching the path of Hurricane Dorian and its projected impact on the Tampa Bay area and our Tampa office. Early projections show the storm could hit the state’s east coast on Monday as a category 3 or 4 hurricane and travel across the state. The Tampa region is currently in the projected path.

We will continue to monitor the situation and keep you posted, but currently, it is business as usual at the Tampa office. Updates to our emergency communication channels, the blog, and phone extension, will be made if anything changes.

We encourage Tampa-based team members to prepare for potential impact, including:

  • Bring your laptop home with you on Friday in case the office has to close for any reason during or after the storm.
  • Let your direct supervisor know what your plans will be during and after the storm
  • Make sure you are in a safe location and have supplies for at least three days

As a reminder, we have four channels for providing and retrieving  information in the event of an emergency:

  1. Emails (like this one)
  2. Group text messages (don’t be surprised when you get one)
  3. Phone Extension Recording – dial either 1-866-546-1212, extension 8000, or direct to 813-323-9439
  4. Emergency Blog – Visit
