The Store Room feature in TargetSolutions Check It™ allows departments to set up their own inventory locations, track stock levels and document refills or location transfers. Agencies, such as Salem Fire Department (OR), have used Store Rooms to monitor specific “Pandemic Supplies”.

Emergency calls related to COVID-19 are expected to rise and there’s a national shortage of PPE (mask respirators, gloves, protective gowns etc.) for first responders. By setting up a storeroom for this type of inventory, departments can closely track these limited items.
In addition to tracking current inventory, the application can be leveraged to help see real-time inventory levels and assist with staging items for better preparation. The system can also be set up to indicate when items are reaching critically low thresholds, which may help the department requests for funding and supplies.
