The IndustrySafe team is thrilled to announce the IndustrySafe Mobile App has been expanded to record detailed Incident Investigation data with our 5.16 Release.
Since December 2017, the IndustrySafe mobile app has been available for both iPhone and Android devices to allow workers to conduct EHS inspections with or without an internet connection.
In 2018, we rolled out an update that allowed the mobile app to record initial incident data as well as inspection data, provided users had access to both modules.
If you have permission to conduct incident investigations in IndustrySafe’s incident reporting software, the investigation fields will appear when entering a new incident in the mobile app. If you do not have permission, or if your system administrator has not enabled incident investigations for the mobile app, you will only be able to enter initial incident data.
Incident investigation fields will operate in a similar manner as the desktop version, with some sections only appearing when applicable to the incident. For example, you will only see the OSHA recordkeeping section if the incident is deemed OSHA recordable based off the incident’s basic information.
You’ll be able to enter all the details of the new incident and incident investigation without an internet connection. Once a connection is established, you can upload your data to IndustrySafe Safety Management Software for continued investigation, reporting, and more.
The IndustrySafe mobile app is available at no extra cost to subscribers of IndustrySafe’s Inspections or Incidents modules, and can be downloaded from both the App Store® and Google Play™ for iPhone and Android devices.
