Las Vegas casinos are rolling in big profits amid sorting out the ever-evolving updates on COVID-19 and the Delta variant. Casinos on The Strip raked in $794 million in revenue for July, while the state of Nevada generated even more.

On top of The Strip’s casinos having a 46% revenue increase to its pre-pandemic July (2019), "statewide, gaming revenue hit $1.36 billion for the month, making July the fifth consecutive billion-dollar month and a 33% increase over July 2019," according to a Forbes article.

While people are determined to redeem winter blues and extended extensions of sheltering-in-place during the pandemic for summertime fun, travel, and even Vegas for as long as it’s permitted, there still is a need for caution and safety measures.

Although Vegas restrictions have increased–requiring people to wear face masks at all times when inside–many businesses are forging ahead with their events, and so is Vector Solutions for Casinos with our annual AML conference this October. We’ll be taking all necessary health, safety, and COVID-19 precautions, and following hotel, state, and city regulations, while monitoring the updates on the Delta variant as developments continue to unfold.

This year’s AML conference is reduced in size to about half of what it was. Our space at Caesar’s Palace Hotel and Casino is social-distance friendly and strategically under capacity. We are also prepared to enforce proof of negative COVID tests or vaccinations for safety measures.

If you haven’t already, you can register for our annual Casinos and Gaming AML Conference and Expo here.

We encourage you to stay in the know and educate yourself on the ever-evolving data surrounding COVID-19 with our most recent mini-course on coronavirus and its variants, including Delta, below.
