On Thursday, October 21, 2021, the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) hosted a Vector LiveSafe webinar titled Community-Sourced Risk Research & Best Practices.

In this webinar, Alexandra Brunjes, Associate Marketing Manager at Vector LiveSafe and the host of the Vector LiveSafe Webinar Series, discussed mobile risk intelligence communications platforms, including key features and client usage examples. 

Alexandra also interviewed Dr. Yun Huang (Assistant Professor & Lab Co-Director, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign) and Ryan Mayfield (Director, Strategy, Vector Solutions), who were co-authors of a recent study by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign’s Social Computing Systems Lab (SALT Lab), about their research key findings and safety communication best practices. 

Lastly, Karla Lemmon (Sales Solutions Engineer, Vector LiveSafe) presented a live demo of Vector LiveSafe that included key platform features and illustrated key learnings from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign research study.

The webinar included the following:

  • The role and value of mobile risk intelligence communications platforms
  • Mobile safety platform key features and usage examples
  • Key findings from a University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign research study into the Vector LiveSafe platform, including current client usage and best practices
