Carpentry involves the use of hand and power tools, as well as equipment, to complete repairs on items such as cabinets, windows and flooring. You should never put yourself in harm’s way by trying to perform a task that’s unsafe, especially if you haven’t received proper training or lack the correct tool. This course introduces several hazards and risks associated with performing basic carpentry tasks. It also covers recommended safe work practices to avoid injury and illness.
