Data-Based Decision Making
Effectively collected and utilized data can improve your instruction and help identify learning supports needed for student success in your classroom. Data can also guide the creation of behavior plans and other interventions that can transform the school experience of struggling students. Data collection for students with IEPs is equally important if not more critical and should involve an ongoing collaborative process between general education teachers, special education teachers and often paraeducators. The goal of this course is to help prepare you to efficiently collect and use data to improve student academic performance and behavior.
