Harassment and violence are all too common in the workplace. Unfortunately, many of us have experienced it ourselves or know someone who was harassed in the workplace. Do you know what to do if you experience harassment, violence, or bullying in the workplace? What if an employee reports harassment to you? What do you do with the information? Who should you contact? Is there an investigation? What happens after harassment is reported? These are all topics covered in this course. To start with, your company has a specific company harassment and violence prevention policy as it’s a legal requirement. In addition, the harassment program details how the policy is implemented and enforced in the workplace. A policy is no good if it is not upheld.
