Mathematics – Fractions
A fraction consists of two integers, one on top of the other, separated by a horizontal line or slash. Fractions are used to represent how many portions of a particular size there are of a whole something. This course will describe how to reduce fractions to their lowest terms, how to calculate the greatest common factor and lowest common denominator, and how to perform mathematical operations with fractions, including how to convert between fractions and decimals or percentages.
