Visual Weapons Screening

This course has been designed to teach staff members basic principles in visual weapon screening. The course is based on training videos used by the FBI, U.S. Secret Service, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), and law enforcement agencies in more than thirty countries. The course will review the importance of visual weapons screening, effective policies and safe procedures in the event a staff member encounters a suspicious situation, and specific indicators that a person may be armed.
