Frontline QA Tracker Helps Close Critical Gaps in Emergency Communications Quality Assurance Programs
Industry:
Solution:
Cloud-based solution streamlines QA documentation and reporting, aligns with APCO/NENA standards, and supports improved outcomes for public safety agencies
As part of Vector’s unified agency readiness platform, QA Tracker is designed to help agencies efficiently document, track, and report on quality assurance activities.
Built in alignment with the APCO/NENA ANSI Standard for Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement Programs, QA Tracker enables ECCs to evaluate how telecommunicators manage calls and dispatch police, fire, and emergency medical services.
In late 2018, Jason Kern, who was at that time the Executive Director of Southeast Emergency Communications (SEECOM) in Crystal Lake, Illinois, approached several vendors with a vision to streamline QA documentation and reporting.
“Frontline’s ability to understand the importance of quality assurance and continuous improvement in our industry, along with their commitment to building a solution around established standards, made them the ideal partner,” said Kern.
Over the following months, teams from Frontline and SEECOM collaborated to develop and refine what would become QA Tracker.
QA Tracker replaces manual workflows with a centralized platform that enables agencies to capture data and analyze performance across individuals, shifts, and the entire organization.
“QA Tracker is designed to help agencies save time, surface meaningful insights, and ultimately strengthen the service they provide to their communities,” said Ben Laird, Vector Solutions VP of Sales.
“Our goal is to continuously improve our quality assurance program and provide consistent, actionable feedback to our team,” added Kern. “We believe this solution can help other centers enhance their QA efforts as well.”
