TAMPA, FL, April 24, 2026 – Vector Solutions is honored to welcome the San Bernardino County (California) Sheriff’s Department (SO) to the team of public safety professionals using Acadis® to improve law enforcement officer training and readiness. Vector Solutions is proud to support the San Bernardino County SO mission by leveraging technology to improve training efficiencies and experiences for the thousands of officers trained each year in their Advanced Officer Training program. The Training Center plans to launch the Acadis Readiness Suite in 2026.

The San Bernardino County SO Training program holds most of their training classes at the Frank Bland Regional Training Center in San Bernardino, CA. The program has delivered essential law enforcement training since 1971 and is recognized by the California Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) as a leader in progressive training. Each year, the Center trains thousands of officers from their own agency as well as officers throughout California.

The Center combines experienced instructors, high standards, and a commitment to excellence, including a POST-certified basic academy program accredited by San Bernardino Valley College. In addition to the basic academy, the Center hosts several Advanced Officer Training courses, including advanced, force options, and corrections training programs, as well as training to help officers meet POST-required continued professional training requirements for licensure compliance.

Situated on nearly 800 acres in the foothills of Devore, the Center features extensive, state-of-the-art facilities, including an eight-mile Emergency Vehicle Operations Center (EVOC), multiple firearms ranges, and a live-fire training structure for advanced tactical exercises. As the Center continues to evolve, it remains focused on enhancing training delivery through modern tactics and technology.

The Captain of the San Bernardino County SO Training Division said they plan to leverage Acadis to manage their Advanced Officer Training program, which serves 2,000+ officers from their agency and an additional 500+ officers from other agencies each trimester. From class scheduling and enrollments to training records, assignments, online learning, and testing, they will centralize and streamline all training functions within Acadis.

“We cover a large geographical area, so it will be helpful to offer online options for items that can be done remotely, like policy reviews,” said the Captain. “We can manage everything needed for California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training compliance, including officers’ hourly training records, training materials, course outlines, lesson plans, and historical documentation if needed for civil litigation.”

Vector Solutions commends the San Bernardino County SO for leveraging technology to improve training processes and provide real-time insight into continued education and readiness to help prepare today’s officers for tomorrow’s challenges.
