New state approvals give Nevada and Georgia officers access to pre-approved online training that supports annual continuing education requirements and reduces compliance risk

TAMPA, Fla. — Vector Solutions, the leading provider of unified agency readiness solutions to help train, prepare, and retain public safety professionals, today announced that it has received approved training provider status from both the Nevada Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (NV POST) and the Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council (GA POST). The approvals expand Vector’s approved law enforcement continuing education footprint into two additional states, giving agencies in both states access to pre-approved online training that supports annual continuing education requirements and reduces compliance risk.

Both states require continuing education courses to be pre-approved before they qualify for credit, making provider approval a prerequisite for agencies seeking a streamlined, audit-ready training solution. With these new approvals, law enforcement agencies in Nevada and Georgia can confidently assign Vector Solutions courses to meet annual requirements without concern over eligibility or documentation gaps.

    Nevada POST Approval

Nevada peace officers are required to complete 12 hours of continuing education annually by Dec. 31. Vector now has more than 20 hours of NV POST-approved content available, allowing officers to complete all required annual continuing education hours through Vector Solutions. Approved courses address each of Nevada’s mandated annual training topics, including:

    • Racial profiling
    • Mental health, including crisis intervention
    • Officer well-being
    • Implicit bias recognition
    • De-escalation
    • Human trafficking
    • Firearms
    • Interactions with persons with developmental disabilities, including recognizing and responding to persons with an autism spectrum disorder

    Georgia POST Approval

Georgia law enforcement officers are required to complete 20 hours of continuing education annually by Dec. 31, with 19 of those hours eligible for online completion. Vector’s GA POST-approved course library includes more than 80 courses approved for elective credit, along with courses specifically approved for two of Georgia’s mandated topic areas:

    • 5 courses approved for de-escalation
    • 12 courses approved for community policing

Additional course approvals are anticipated. At this time, Vector does not have courses approved for gang awareness, human trafficking, or use of force, as GA POST requires those topic areas to reference Georgia-specific laws.

“Earning POST approval in Nevada and Georgia is a meaningful step in our commitment to making high-quality, standards-aligned training accessible to officers across the country,” said Mikayla Graves, Director of Compliance and Accreditation at Vector Solutions. “These approvals reduce the administrative burden on agencies, give officers confidence that their training counts toward annual requirements, and support the kind of audit readiness that departments increasingly need.”

Nationwide Commitment to Law Enforcement Training

Vector Solutions maintains broad nationwide acceptance for law enforcement continuing education. Its courses are approved or accepted for use in 40 states, with additional course certifications through the IADLEST National Certification Program (NCP). Vector actively pursues formal state POST approvals and continues expanding accreditations across the country to help agencies support officer development and license maintenance year after year.
