Product wins in the Anonymous Reporting Tool category

Vector LiveSafe earned the award – the highest available – in the Anonymous Reporting Tool category.  

Vector LiveSafe is an advanced tip reporting and safety communication tool that allows students or employees to quickly report safety concerns directly through a smartphone app. It can help higher education institutions address issues, from campus violence to misconduct within student organizations such as hazing or sexual assault. One of the key features of Vector LiveSafe is its anonymous reporting feature. Users can quickly submit tips (text, photo, or video) anonymously, which are then routed to the designated campus officials. In one situation, a college used the anonymous reporting feature to gather tips about allegations of hazing and alcohol abuse. The information helped the college uncover several incidents which it then investigated and addressed.

“Students are sometimes more comfortable reporting incidents or concerns anonymously, so by adding this feature to our Vector LiveSafe platform, we provided another avenue for schools and universities to gather needed information,” said Vector Solutions CEO Marc Scheipe. “Anonymous reporting tools help institutions be proactive about identifying issues that might otherwise go unreported.
