Jim Frazer is a RedVector course author and a Senior Executive who focuses on the domains of Intelligent Transportation Systems, Illumination and the Smart City.
Within the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) domain, Jim continues to play a pivotal role in the development of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s ITS standards, as well as IoT, illumination and Smart Grid standards being pioneered by Standards Development Organizations. Jim has held a variety of senior positions at development and consulting firms as well as startup organizations in the high technology sector. He has proposed, engineered and managed large commercial and governmental automation projects in the U.S. and Europe.
His specialties include executive management, intelligent transportation systems, illumination, smart grid, connected vehicles, electric vehicles, control networks and standards.
He’s a frequent speaker at trade conferences, and has authored and presented a wide variety of PE CEU courses in his areas of focus, including the new Smart City, Intelligent Transportation and Connected Vehicle courses for RedVector.
