RedVector Author Jim Taube is a Professional Engineer (PE) and Certified Energy Manager (CEM). Jim has extensive industrial experience with 23 years in the pulp and paper industry and 12 years in institutional and pharmaceutical facility management. His responsibilities have included engineering design, electrical and mechanical maintenance, procurement, commissioning and power plant utilities management. Areas of expertise include HVAC design, commissioning and qualification, dust collection, construction administration, temperature/humidity controls, energy analysis and energy cost savings initiatives.

Jim is now Lead Engineer for Testing at GE Aviation, where he manages major capital investment projects in the Test Facilities Infrastructure area. His project responsibilities include technical design reviews, customer tollgate reviews, and coordination of design consultants and on-site contractors. HE also serves as Chairman of the Inlet Review team, which checks for integrity of test cell and hardware. Jim possesses degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Clarkson University in New York and Electrical Power Technology from Bismarck State College.
