Eva Nichols is the former Executive Director of the Learning Disabilities Association of Ontario and former chair of the Minister’s Advisory Council on Special Education for the Province of Ontario. She was the principal researcher of the Learning Opportunities Task Force, a major research study on the accommodation of students with learning disabilities in the post-secondary sector. Eva has also provided legislative training and support to other special education organizations, including Voice for Hearing Impaired Children and the Tourette Syndrome Foundation of Ontario, and participated in the legislative work of the Learning Disabilities Association of Canada. She has written several books on special education issues and served as a Toronto school board member for eight years.
