Vector Solutions Partners with Calibre Press to Support Women in Law Enforcement
Industry:
Solution:
This Women’s History Month, Vector Solutions is excited to announce a new strategic partnership with Calibre Press for Calibre’s 2025 Women in Policing training series. This collaboration demonstrates our shared vision to empower, advance, and support women in law enforcement through industry-leading training and technology solutions.
Calibre Press has provided training courses and resources since its founding in 1980. The Women in Policing training series builds upon that foundation and provides a combination of online and in-person learning opportunities focused on the unique experiences of women officers. Participants will have access to educational sessions, thought leadership discussions, and networking opportunities, all curated to foster professional growth and resilience among women in public safety.
“The partnership between Calibre Press and Vector Solutions is built upon on a shared mission to equip officers with the skills, knowledge, and tools they need to reach positive outcomes for themselves and their communities,” said Scott Buhrmaster, CEO of Calibre Press. “The Women in Policing series in particular allows us to provide opportunities that support the growth of women in law enforcement.”
As part of the Vector’s 2025 Women’s History Month activities, we are proud to highlight this partnership and other events taking place this month, including a free webinar presented by Calibre Press and sponsored by Vector Solutions, “Surviving and Thriving as a Female Officer,” taking place on March 12th at 12pm CT.
Calibre Press Instructors Cyndy Velasquez and Carole Widman will share personally lived, often hard-earned insights on how to excel at meeting the countless challenges of being a female officer. This webinar is not restricted to female officers and is open to officers of all ranks.
Attendees will learn:
- First-hand advice for surviving a “multiple identity” lifestyle: Turning your cop switch on and off without losing your mind.
- Strategies for maintaining (and even leveraging) your inherent feminine personality without compromising your tactical readiness and command presence on the street.
- Tips for staying physically healthy, mentally strong and emotionally balanced.
