RedVector Author James Evans brings more than 46 years of design and analysis experience in industrial, commercial, and institutional electrical projects. James is the Director of Engineering for Salisbury by Honeywell, where he is the representative to NFPA 70B and 70E and performs distribution analysis for industrial and utility companies including short circuit, load flow, power factor, arc flash, protective relaying, and facility design. He also prepare standards of work, performs peer review and leads and manages engineers in five offices in the US, three in Shanghai, China, and two in Brno Czech Republic. His other experience includes conceptual studies for project viability, project design, analytical studies, and construction administration. He has served as a Managing Partner of a Consulting Engineering firm, Chief Plans Examiner for an electrical inspecting authority, and Senior Vice president of a general construction company.
