Especially if you spent a lot of time on it. But still, it’s important feedback. It shows that your opinions or goals aren’t clear to everyone.

And look, we’ve all been in situations where there aren’t clear goals or ideas. It’s frustrating and confusing, but that’s where having a vision fixes things.

Plain and simple. If you want to be a leader, you have to have a vision.

It’s an essential guide that keeps focus on the goals for yourself, personally and professionally.

Without an end goal in mind, there’s no way you can chart a path forward.

So think for a second about what matters to you most. The values of your past experiences and what kind of leader you want to be. These are all important elements of a vision, and we’ll be referring to them later.

Depending on our experiences, it might be hard to come up with a vision right away.

Fortunately, there are some habits and skills that you can pick up on and develop.
