Protected: Acadis Product Release Update: What’s New for Acadis Customers?

The Acadis Product team has delivered 122 new Acadis features in the first three quarters of 2026! While 122 features are way too many to review in this blog, we want to make sure you are aware of the biggest releases, as well as what’s coming next.

First, as always, customer input is important in shaping the Acadis roadmap. While we continually gather feedback from Acadis customers on what they would like to see considered as part of the Acadis roadmap, we hold in-person and virtual customer summits where groups of customers are asked to vote on and rank the features they wanted to see included as part of the Acadis product roadmap.  In 2026, these two popular feature areas that tied for first place:

• Enhancements to Observed Testing: This request includes support for multiple observers and the ability to average scores across observers. The Acadis product team is planning to reach out to customers to gather more input on the details of this feature and if you’d like to weigh in, reach out to your Customer Success Manager (CSM). Premier Account Manager (PAM), or Implementation Manager.
• More Customizable Reporting for Administrators: This request can be met today with Acadis Insights, powered by the Acadis Data Lake. Acadis Insights gives administrators and data specialists far greater power and flexibility in how they report on and visualize their data, using industry-standard, third-party BI tools like Microsoft Power BI. Early in 2027, Acadis Insights customers will also begin seeing new dashboards connected to the power of the Acadis Data Lake, embedded directly inside Acadis. And now, onto the top features released in 2026 and those coming soon.

Smarter Data and Decision-Making

• Acadis Insights, Powered by the Data Lake: Direct access to your Acadis data via our high-performance Data Lake, provides users with the ability to leverage business intelligence tools like Microsoft Power BI for custom visualizations that unlock faster, smarter decisions. Available now.
• Embedded BI Dashboards: Built on the foundation of Acadis Insights powered by the Data Lake, Insights customers will have exclusive access to a growing library of curated dashboards, powered by Amazon QuickSight, that are available within Acadis. With dashboards available within Acadis, users can add any dashboard to their favorite splash screen, ensuring the data you need is visible where and when you need it most. As new dashboards are designed and tested, they can be published to your library without requiring an Acadis release. Dashboards available in your library can be published to the Acadis Portal with the assurance that every dashboard will respect each user’s existing data permissions. Premier Services customers gain additional value from a Premier Data Management Services subscription, which can create custom dashboards to support your business and mission needs, built around your agency’s specific goals and workflows, and ultimately published directly to your Data Lake Dashboards library.
• Scheduled Advanced Data Exports: Add a recurring schedule (one-time as well as recurring – daily through annual) to any saved Advanced Data Export. When active, the schedule will automatically run the export, with automated delivery of the results via secure e-mail link, audience-based recipient lists, and a full run-history audit trail. Available in Q1 2027.

AcadisConnect: Seamless Data Exchange

AcadisConnect allows two trusted, independent Acadis instances to securely send and receive training completions. This enables Acadis customers to easily share training completion records, for example, in the case of a state POST that leverages Acadis for certification tracking and would like to have a unified training record that includes other academies using Acadis. Or, in the case of a state highway patrol agency or state police agency wanting to automate their officer in-service training to the POST Acadis instance. AcadisConnect will support bi-directional sharing of completed training data in independent instances of Acadis. Currently in beta, with general availability targeted for Q4 2026.

AgencyConnect: Streamlined Reporting from Local Agencies

AgencyConnect lets local agencies using TargetSolutions (and soon Frontline Training Tracker) to auto-report training completions directly into a state’s Acadis instance, which reduces duplicate training data entry, virtually eliminates manual e-mail and fax-based reporting, and gives state authorities real-time visibility into compliance (without the end-of-training-period rush when most agencies wait to report their in-service training). With AgencyConnect, we continue to add more flexibility to meet each state’s unique training management and reporting needs, including the ability to send supporting documents (e.g., signed rosters) along with training completions, and more granular approval settings for Acadis Admins, including the ability to gate and review each completion individually, or auto-approve trainings that have already been reviewed and approved once so that Acadis Admins do not have to review every training for every officer in the state.

Acadis Mobile: Built for the Field

• Simplified Login: Full SAML/SSO support across multiple identity providers is coming to Acadis Mobile so officers can log in with either their Acadis or portal credentials and automatically get access to the information they need based on their respective permissions. Available in Q4 2026.
• Longer Sessions: Longer Acadis Mobile session lengths extend re-authentication from 2 minutes to 15 minutes, dramatically cutting down interruptions in the field. Available in Q4 2026.
• Show ID and QR Attendance: A new identity-based QR code for students lets instructors record attendance by scanning each student’s mobile device via Acadis Mobile—even fully offline—with results syncing back to the class in Acadis automatically once connectivity returns. Ideal for annual weapons qualifications, EVOC training, and other remote or connectivity-limited training sites. Available in Q4 2026.

Enhanced Attendance Tracking

• Activity-Level Attendance: Record attendance (present/absent) status tied directly to specific class activities, reducing data-entry errors from manually typed activity names. Available now.
• Hours-Based Tracking: Acadis will also introduce the ability to track attendance by hours, plus makeup-attendance entries and dashboards/exports to support accreditation reporting. Available Q4 2026.

Knowledge Checks: Engaging, Gamified Assessments

• Kahoot-Style Engagement: A new instructor-paced pop-up quiz experience with scores and time options per question, its own dedicated question bank, multiple choice/multiple-answer questions, and a leaderboard with gold/silver/bronze recognition. Think Kahoot-style engagement built for Acadis testing! Available in Q1 2027.

Streamlined Training Requests and Policy Document Management

• Acadis Training Requests: Eliminate paper-based training request processes with customizable request and approval WebForms in Acadis. Complete with e-signatures, chain-of-command routing, conditional logic, and one-click export. Available now.
• Policy Document Acknowledgement: Assign policy acknowledgement as part of your class curriculum or online training events—delivered via the Portal and tracked inside Acadis. Now expanded to support video files in addition to PDFs. Available now.

Acadis Readiness Intelligence: AI Built for Public Safety

Acadis users will soon be able to experience our initial introduction of Artificial Intelligence (AI)—or Acadis Readiness Intelligence (ARI)! ARI is built on real-world public safety workflows, with FedRAMP and CMMC compliance, global opt in/opt out and granular user-level permission controls, and a strict no-training-on-customer-data policy.  ARI removes technical barriers, helping users get the data and readiness insights they need in seconds, without specialized technical skills or assistance.

The initial series of ARI enhancements will include:

• ARI Smart Summaries and Readiness Insights: Plain-language summaries coupled with intuitive visuals covering compliance status, training progress, and risk trends directly from your exported data (no manual SQL queries or spreadsheet manipulation required). Available in Q1 2027.
• ARI-Assisted Person Search: Describe what you need in plain English (e.g., “defensive tactics instructors whose need CE hours in the next 90 days”) and ARI proposes the search criteria for you to review, run, and/or save (no complex SQL skills required). Available in Q4 2026.
• ARI-Supported Help and Navigation: Natural-language search and in-app guidance across Acadis content, courses, and policy. Available in Q1 2027.
• ARI-Assisted Advanced Data Exports: Tell ARI what kind of Advanced Data Export you would like to create in a conversational way, then let ARI write the SQL query for you and save it to the ADE Library. Available in Q2 2027
