Cal Beyer

Sr. Director of SAFE Workplaces

Cal has over 30 years of professional experience in risk management, safety, and wellness, focusing on human capital risk management and well-being. He helped launch a mental health and suicide prevention movement in the AEC industry. Cal was appointed to the Executive Committee of the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention and the Lived Experience Advisory Committee of the Suicide Prevention Resource Center (SPRC). He currently serves on the Advisory Boards for Goldfinch Health, MindWise Innovations, and AGC of America, and previously served on the Advisory Boards for the Center for Workplace Mental Health and Youturn Health. Cal is also a frequent presenter at industry events and a regular contributor to industry publications.

Dorothy Reed

Vice President, Property & Casualty; ​USI Insurance

With over 20 years of professional experience in risk management, safety, and wellness, Dorothy serves as the Vice-Chair for the CFMA National Committee for Suicide Prevention and as a Chapter Champion for the Puget Sound CFMA Suicide Prevention initiative. As a recovering alcoholic and addict with 12 years of sobriety, she frequently speaks at Alcohol/Substance Abuse/Mental Health Treatment Centers, sharing her journey and insights. Beyond her professional role as a construction insurance broker, she is a wife, mother of three, and a friend to all. Her door is always open to anyone seeking resources, help, or guidance for a loved one, employee, or workforce.
