MENTAL WELL-BEING COURSE OVERVIEW

One in five teens and young adults live with a mental health condition, and three quarters develop one by age 24, according to the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

Mental Well-being for Students equips undergraduates with essential skills and information to navigate the stressors and emotional challenges associated with college life. The 45-minute online course helps learners practice self-care strategies, recognize when they or their peers are in distress, and take action to find additional support.

This course was developed in partnership with the The Jed Foundation as part of our shared mission to promote student safety, emotional health and wellness.

MENTAL WELL-BEING COURSE HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Modules that address alcohol misuse, sexual assault, and hazing awareness and prevention for fraternity and sorority chapters
  • A customizable welcome message, welcome video, policies, and resources integrated throughout the course to tailor the course to your values
  • Bite-sized content introduces bystander intervention tactics and confidence building strategies
  • Interactive activities introduce important social norms
