Michael Raymond

Michael Raymond brings a decade of combined experience in law enforcement, public safety technology, and government-focused SaaS solutions to his role here at Vector as a Senior Sales Engineer. But his experience doesn’t end there – beginning his career in public safety in 2017, he has served as a Community Service Officer, Auxiliary Police Officer, and later as a sworn Police Officer in 2021. 

Michael’s unique perspective of public safety technology and serving his local community allows him to excel in bringing Vector’s unified agency readiness platform to other agencies across the country. In his current role, he connects real-world law enforcement challenges with modern technology solutions to help agencies increase efficiency, awareness, and officer safety & well-being. 

Michael’s insights are grounded in experience. As an end user of Vector’s solutions in his own agency, he also understands what it takes to successfully implement and sustain technology in a public safety environment.  

“When you’ve personally relied on a platform in the field and seen how easy it is to implement and use, it changes how you talk about it.” Michael shared, “That experience is a big reason I’m passionate about helping other agencies adopt these tools — it’s technology that truly works for public safety, not against it.” 

This combination of frontline policing experience, technical expertise, and first-hand platform knowledge makes Michael uniquely qualified to speak to the real-world impact Vector’s solutions can bring to public safety agencies.  

Michael currently serves as a Police Officer with the Villa Park Police Department, where he focuses on community engagement, emergency response, and investigative work.
