LMS Platform Enhancement: Mass Messaging for Your Agency

Resources

The TargetSolutions learning management system (LMS) is updated according to client feedback to provide enhancements that will improve daily tasks. New platform improvements focus on easier and faster communication within agencies via mass messaging.

With new mass messaging capabilities, supervisory personnel can communicate faster across their department. You can message your whole agency or specific groups of individuals with a few simple steps. For a step-by-step overview of how to mass message personnel, please visit this article in the Help Center.

Managing Your Communication

There are three areas from which mass messages can be shared: the notifications inbox, events and credentials. Using this new feature, your agency can streamline how important alerts are shared and keep members on the same page.

Sending Messages from an Event

With this new update, it’s simple to message personnel from the Manage Events module. From here, messages can be sent to all users enrolled in an event or only to attendees or absentees. This feature can also be used to communicate with members enrolled in an upcoming event, to remind them to prepare or take other actions.

Messaging Within a Credential

Messages can also be delivered through a credential to multiple users or specific individuals. This addition to mass messaging helps target necessary personnel with just a few clicks. For example, you can remind them to stay on track with their credential or of an upcoming expiration.

Other Platform Enhancements: Events Exception Report

In addition to enhanced messaging, a new report was also added to the Non-Schedulable section in Generate Reports: Events – Enrollment Exception. This report shows who is not enrolled in selected events and the Enrollment columns provide detailed information on users who are not enrolled because of a denied enrollment request or due to being withdrawn from an event.
