Gov. Rick Scott has appointed Les Muma to the University of South Florida’s board of trustees, along with Charlie Tokarz, a Sarasota executive. Muma, 73, lives in Belleair. He has deep USF ties, having served as a member of the USF Foundation and the USF Muma College of Business Advisory Board. He is the former CEO of Fiserv Inc. Technology Solutions.
Former Massachusetts Gov. Jane Swift was named executive chair of the board for Ultimate Medical Academy, a Tampa-based nonprofit, higher education institution. Swift served for 15 years in Massachusetts state government, including as Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation, and as a state senator. Most recently, she was CEO of Middlebury Interactive Languages, an organization specializing in language training, particularly online and in intensive summer immersion classes. She has served on the UMA board since October 2016.
Vector Solutions, a Tampa-based education training company, announced that Carla Luke has taken the role of chief financial officer, leading the finance, legal and human resource teams. Luke comes to Vector with over 25 years of experience helping build high-growth companies, both publicly traded and privately held. Before joining Vector Solutions, Luke worked as the CFO at Greenway Health, a provider of technology enabled software and services to the physician ambulatory market.
