Health Care: Violent Patient

The Situation

A patient with a known history of violent behavior toward hospital employees arrived at the hospital to seek care.

The Solution

A hospital employee recognized the patient and submitted a tip through the LiveSafe app, con- tacting security and asking for assistance in case the patient became violent.

The Result

Security officials were stationed near where the patient was being treated, ready to intervene if necessary and prevent the patient from harming hospital employees.
