Evacuation Planning for Students with Special Needs

Bus drivers and on-board attendants serving students with special needs perform a great service. However, no one can eliminate all dangers during transportation. Accidents happen and drivers and attendants must be prepared to implement an effective safety plan quickly if the bus must be evacuated. Because students with special needs have different abilities and disabilities, the same evacuation plan cannot be used for all students with special needs. This course will give you the basic knowledge you need to create a unique plan for your bus and the children you transport.
