Human Trafficking Awareness
Human trafficking affects the lives of thousands throughout the U.S. As we become more aware of the prevalence of trafficking, it’s clear that university and college faculty and staff are in contact with victims and may have the opportunity to recognize and help them. This course provides faculty and staff with an overview of human trafficking, and ways to help identify and potentially prevent occurrences of human trafficking. Topics include: the scope of human trafficking, ways of identifying victims, key stories and case studies, warning signs and ways to respond.
