IEP Progress Monitoring and Reporting

Writing measurable annual IEP goals has always been important. But because of the persistent achievement gap between students with and without disabilities, there’s a renewed focus on the need to document and demonstrate how students are progressing toward their IEP goals – specifically through the process of progress monitoring and reporting. This course helps school faculty and staff members understand how to effectively use progress monitoring and reporting to improve outcomes for all students with disabilities. Topics include: goals and objectives, process of creating an IEP goal, toolbox resources, and how to make progress monitoring efficient and effective.
