This is especially true for parents of students with disabilities. This course is designed to help principals partner with parents and guardians to establish a positive, collaborative culture that meets the needs of teachers, parents and students. Topics covered include how to navigate the family dynamic, ways to cultivate familial relationships, how schools can reflect multicultural values, strategies for principals to partner with parents, and ways to build positive relationships among stakeholders.
