Strategies for Teaching Diverse Learners in Online Learning Environments

While distance learning offers significant advantages to students, especially those who are battling health issues or homebound, it creates unique problems for students with exceptionalities and their teachers. This course will examine design strategies to improve student engagement, direct instruction, collaborative learning, project-based learning (or PBL), and self-directed learning, and how to implement these strategies in a distance learning environment to support diverse learners.
