Structured Teaching: Part 1 – Individualized Visual Daily Schedules
This course will help school staff members working with students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) better understand and implement the structured teaching best practice of using individualized visual daily schedules. We’ll discuss how the schedule addresses the needs of students with ASD, explain the critical process of individualizing the schedule, demonstrate how to teach students to use the schedule, cover the process of making needed adjustments, and explore numerous schedule examples used successfully in classrooms.
