Transition Services (Parents/Guardians)

Special education services are designed to meet the individual needs of students with disabilities. But what happens after they graduate? The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act requires schools to provide students who have an individualized education program with formal transition planning services. This course will discuss the law’s coordinated set of activities designed to help young adults move from a school environment to post-graduation life.
