New Professional Development Courses Empower Educators to Create Positive School Climates
Industry:
Solution:
School climate plays a significant role in educational success as it influences how staff and students feel about their school. A positive climate fosters stronger connections, enhances mental health, boosts teacher retention, improves attendance, and supports academic achievement.
When it comes to creating a positive climate within a school, teachers and staff lay the foundation for shaping this environment. Their attitudes and behaviors directly influence the school’s atmosphere. When educators demonstrate enthusiasm, collaboration, and a growth mindset, they set a powerful example that can encourage others to do the same. This cultivates a culture of continuous improvement where both staff and students feel motivated to learn and strive for excellence.
To support teachers and staff in creating a positive school climate, Vector is now offering its Positive School Climate for K-12 Teachers and Staff library of online PD courses. This new library of courses can help equip teachers, staff, and administrators with the knowledge, tools, and strategies to foster safe, supportive, and thriving learning environments.
