California Highway Patrol – Impaired Driving Section Partners with Vector Solutions to Strengthen Operations

TAMPA, FL, Dec. 4, 2025 – Vector Solutions is excited to announce its partnership with the California Highway Patrol (CHP) Impaired Driving Section. CHP joins many other state and local law enforcement agencies from around the country using Vector’s unified agency readiness platform to improve first responder training and readiness. Vector Solutions is proud to help support CHP’s mission to deter, detect, and remove impaired drivers from the road.

The California Highway Patrol was created in 1929 to provide uniform traffic law enforcement throughout the state. The agency is in the process of implementing Vector Check It to strengthen and support its Impaired Driving Section.

Before partnering with Vector Solutions, CHP utilized paper and word processing software to handle the management and inspections of their preliminary alcohol screening (PAS) devices. However, the agency wanted to be able to reduce their reliance on outdated tools and improve processes related to these devices.

Now, by partnering with Vector Solutions, CHP will be able to easily access inspection history and other related documentation for each device.

Vector Solutions commends CHP for their endeavors to strengthen equipment management processes related to its Impaired Driving Section and is honored to support their efforts to keep California drivers safe on the road.
