Customer Snapshot: Mahoney Environmental
Mahoney Environmental is a leading environmental services company with a largely remote workforce. With teams working in the field every day, safety and compliance are critical to their operations. As the company grew, Mahoney Environmental needed a more consistent, accessible way to manage compliance training, reduce audit risk, and engage employees without pulling them off the job for full training days.
By partnering with Vector Solutions, Mahoney Environmental transformed how they approach safety training, making it more flexible, individualized, and scalable across their workforce.
How Mahoney Environmental Uses Vector Solutions
Before using Vector Solutions, compliance training at Mahoney Environmental was largely focused on checking boxes. Training met basic OSHA requirements, but gaps left the company vulnerable during audits and limited their ability to go beyond minimum standards.
With Vector Solutions, Mahoney Environmental was able to spread training out, tailor it to individual roles, and make it accessible through both mobile and desktop devices. This flexibility was especially important for a workforce made up mostly of remote employees. As a result, the company strengthened its compliance plan and began achieving goals that previously felt out of reach.
While there was some initial resistance to change, employees quickly saw that the new approach made required training easier to complete. Instead of losing an entire day pulling people off the road, employees can now complete 30 to 45 minutes of training and return to work while still meeting compliance goals.
Mahoney Environmental also saw a major shift in proactive safety reporting after implementing Vector’s EHS platform. The company went from little to no proactive reports to nearly 3,000 per year.
Now in their third full year using Vector Solutions, Mahoney Environmental has seen measurable improvement across their safety and compliance programs and is confident in what that progress means for the next five, ten, and even fifteen years.
