Students’ connection to their campus community and perceptions of a safe environment can directly impact their academic success.

While instruction typically focuses on knowledge- and skill-building, the University of Texas at Austin has developed a program for faculty and staff to consider how their academic programs can incorporate strategies that support student well-being.

We will introduce the Texas Well-being toolkit adopted by universities and the associated findings, including specific strategies faculty and students report as helpful.
