Selecting & Using Online Maintenance Training

On-Demand Recorded Webinar Image

Overview

In this webcast, you’ll learn the terms and tech and get helpful tips for selecting online maintenance training as well as implementing and using it at your workplace.

You’ll learn more about what online training is, including elearning courses, streaming video courses, and learning management systems. You’ll learn how online training benefits managers and supervisors as well as rank-and-file employees. You’ll learn how to build your online training selection team and some criteria for conducting your search and selecting the maintenance training solutions (elearning, LMS, provider) that’s the best fit for your company.

Finally, we’ll provide an introduction to the use of "live online learning," including webinars and virtual classrooms, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and we’ll point you to resources where you can learn more.

Please note that this webcast will focus on issues related to online training and training and not on issues specific to maintenance training. However, during the webcast we’ll refer you to recordings of two prior webcasts that DO focus more specifically on maintenance--one a case study of how Vector Solutions build a maintenance-tech training program with customer CBRE and the other a discussion of developing organizational learning for improved reliability and maintainability with our friends at the University of Tennessee’s Reliability and Maintainability Center (UT-RMC).

During this webinar, we'll discuss:

  • Organizational learning and the part online training can play
  • What is online training?
  • Blended learning
  • Benefits of online training
  • Building your online training selection team
  • Selection criteria
  • Some tips for virtual training due to COVID-19
