Hey everyone, just had a great webinar with my partner-in-crime here at Vector Solutions, Matt Shrontz, Deputy Chief in the fire service. We were talking about responding in real time, the modern police deployments. And as we know in law enforcement, we’re responding to all sorts of incidents, right? All sorts of dynamic protests, natural disasters, and we have to be ready for that and we have to be prepared for that.
And that’s what we’re talking about today, is how we can look ahead, identify what those needs are, and how we can work together with our brothers and sisters in the other areas of public safety, fire, EMS, 911, whatever the situation is, and how do we handle those incidents?
And then how do we deploy those? How do we get the resources that we need to respond in to be able to respond to those incidents? It was just a great conversation and then we talked a lot about learning from it, learning from one another, training with one another.

Meet the Speakers
Sgt. Doug Kazensky (ret.)
Sgt. Doug 'Kaz' Kazensky is a former police training sergeant and officer of over two decades. After proudly serving in the United States Air Force as a member of the Security Police, he joined the Longview Police Department in Washington in December 1997. He served in patrol, as a School Resource Officer (SRO), and as a detective specializing in fraud and computer crimes.
Deputy Chief Matt Shrontz
Matt Shrontz is a Deputy Chief with the fire service, and a current Sr. Solutions Engineer at Vector Solutions.
