New approvals in Georgia, Michigan, Mississippi, New Mexico and Texas build on Vector’s newly launched Dispatch training catalog, expanding emergency communications professionals’ access to approved continuing education

TAMPA, Fla., July 30, 2026 — Vector Solutions, the leading provider of unified agency readiness solutions to help train, prepare, and retain public safety professionals, today announced that it has received dispatch accreditation approvals in five additional states: Georgia, Michigan, Mississippi, New Mexico and Texas. The approvals build on the company’s recent launch of a new online telecommunicator training catalog, giving emergency communication centers in these states expanded access to pre-approved courses that count toward dispatcher and telecommunicator license renewal.

Each of these states requires continuing education courses to receive regulatory approval before they can be used toward dispatcher or telecommunicator license renewal. With these new approvals, Vector Solutions customers can complete approved online training that:

    • Supports required continuing education
    • Reduces the risk of completing training that may not be accepted
    • Helps departments maintain accurate compliance records
    • Strengthens audit readiness
    • Expands access to flexible, high-quality online training

    New State Approvals

    • Georgia: Georgia Peace Officer Standards & Training (GA POST) has approved Vector’s courses for the Communications Officer license.
    • Michigan: The Michigan State 911 Committee has approved Vector’s courses for the Telecommunicator license.
    • Mississippi: The Mississippi Board on Emergency Telecommunications Standards and Training (BETST) has approved Vector’s courses for the Emergency Telecommunicator license.
    • New Mexico: The New Mexico Department of Public Safety (NMDPS) has approved Vector’s courses for the Public Safety Telecommunicator license.
    • Texas: The Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) has approved Vector’s courses for the Telecommunicator license.

In Georgia, Michigan and Texas, Vector reports approved course completions directly to the state on customers’ behalf. In Mississippi and New Mexico, learners are responsible for self-reporting their completions.

“Securing dispatch accreditation in five new states is an important step in supporting the emergency communications professionals who are often the first point of contact during a crisis,” said Mikayla Graves, Director of Compliance and Accreditation at Vector Solutions. “These approvals, paired with our new Dispatch training catalog, give agencies confidence that their training counts toward compliance while reducing the administrative burden on their teams.”

The new approvals arrive alongside Vector’s recently launched Dispatch training catalog, a library of 35 courses developed in partnership with industry experts to help agencies strengthen dispatcher training, meet continuing education requirements, and support professional development. Built to align with APCO and NENA standards, the courses also help telecommunicators meet training requirements for certifications, including APCO and IAED.

    More Dispatch Approvals Are Coming

Vector’s work to expand dispatch accreditation coverage is continuing. The company currently has submissions awaiting approval in five more states, with additional approvals expected in the coming months.
