RedVector Recognized by SHRM to Offer HR Professionals Training for Recertification

RedVector is now recognized by the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) to offer Professional Development Credits (PDCs). These PDCs enable human resources professional to earn SHRM recertification, expand their skill sets and make their businesses safer and more productive.

 

Tampa — November 23, 2016 — RedVector, the leader in eLearning and performance management solutions for the architecture, engineering, construction (AEC), industrial and facility management industries, has been recognized by the Society for Human Resources Management to offer Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for SHRM recertification.

Recognition by SHRM guarantees that RedVector continuing education courses will be accepted towards recertification for SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credentials. RedVector’s SHRM training includes more than 25 accredited courses covering everything from leadership and business writing to protecting against workplace violence.

Credentials from SHRM equip HR professionals with the qualifications and knowledge they need to implement effective people management policies. They also help businesses gain highly-trained, cross-functional change-makers. “SHRM certification holders already recognize the importance of SHRM certification, but recertification is how they will continue to grow and adapt to meet the evolving needs of the profession,” said Bobby Person, Director of AEC Learning and Performance Solutions. “We’re proud to offer RedVector SHRM training courses that will help them earn recertification credits.”

SHRM Recertification Requirements for SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP:
- 60 Professional Development Credits (PDC) triennially by the end of the certification month
- 1 PDC = 1 hour

Of the 60 PDC required:
- Up to 30 PDC maximum in self-paced (online courses)
- No maximum for instructor-led courses (webinars)

RedVector will continue to expand its training offerings beyond SHRM to meet other HR-related credential requirements, including HRCI and others.
