In the days leading up to the 2021 presidential inauguration, organizations across Washington D.C. prepared for the potential safety and security concerns that large events can pose, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. Dominion Energy wanted to ensure that their employees were prepared to report and respond to security information in order to stay safe.
Dominion utilized LiveSafe’s mobile two-way safety communications functionality to engage and inform their employees in preparation for the inauguration. They sent a Broadcast message that included a safety and security bulletin and asked that employees submit pertinent information using LiveSafe tip submit functionality.
Employee tip submissions and company broadcast messages enabled Dominion to stay updated and communicate pertinent safety and security information before and during Inauguration Day. The LiveSafe Mobile Platform significantly improved real-time threat awareness and promoted Dominion Energy employee preparedness and safety.
