Overview

This webinar recording on Investigating Irma and Hurricane Design reviews the damage found by two investigative teams from FEMA and ASCE in the U.S. Virgin Islands and Florida after Hurricane Irma. The purpose of these investigations was to explore how building codes performed, to determine if the wind design standard from ASCE needed to be revised, and to determine if different approaches to wind design should be considered.
