Exceptional Child Named EdTech Cool Tool Awards Finalist

The finalists for The EdTech Awards 2018 were announced by EdTech Digest in April. Exceptional Child was named a finalist for the Cool Tool Award in the Special Needs Solution category. Now in its 8^th year, the US-based program is the largest and most competitive recognition program in all of education technology, recognizing the biggest names in edtech – and those who soon will be.   The Exceptional Child Online Professional Development System delivers evidence-based special education-related training to all staff who support students with exceptionalities, including general education teachers, special education teachers, paraprofessionals, and more.   The EdTech Awards recognizes people in and around education for outstanding contributions in transforming education through technology to enrich the lives of learners everywhere. Featuring edtech’s best and brightest, the annual program shines a spotlight on cool tools, inspiring leaders and innovative trendsetters across the K-12, Higher Education, and Skills and Workforce sectors.   “We celebrate who’s who and what’s next in edtech,” said Victor Rivero, who as Editor-in-Chief of EdTech Digest, oversees the awards program.   The EdTech Awards recognize people—and the products they produce and lives they shape— with three main honors:

• The EdTech Cool Tool Awards
• The EdTech Leadership Awards, and
• The EdTech Trendsetter Awards.
