Asset Assignments and Responsible Parties – Available Now!

Vector Check It is expanding asset assignment capabilities, giving agencies new ways to track issued items and define responsibility.

With this release, vehicles can be assigned directly to a specific user, and vehicles and equipment can be assigned to a responsible party. This capability will also be expanded to include compartments (inventory) soon.

This enhancement helps agencies distinguish between where an asset is located and who is accountable for it, strengthening oversight while maintaining accurate location records.

• Stronger Accountability for Vehicles and Equipment – Designate a responsible party for vehicles or equipment so a specific individual is accountable for maintenance and oversight.

• Clear Tracking for Take-Home Assets – Assign vehicles and equipment directly to personnel to document take-home equipment and maintain a clear record of issued items.

• Better Inspection and Maintenance Oversight – Responsible party designations ensure inspections and checks are performed by the appropriate personnel.

• Improved Inventory Control – Maintain clearer records of issued equipment and vehicles, helping agencies track what personnel are authorized to take home and what must be returned at the end of the shift.
