AccreditationsNew approval from the Missouri 911 Service Board covers 24 courses, giving dispatchers a pre-approved path to license renewal
TAMPA, Fla. — Vector Solutions, a leading provider of software and online training solutions for public safety and other industries, today announced that its Dispatch training catalog has been approved in Missouri by the Missouri 911 Service Board for the Telecommunicator license.
Twenty-four Vector Solutions courses, totaling 25 hours, are now approved, which means Missouri telecommunicators can complete all of their required training through approved courses available in Vector Solutions. The courses are offered through the TargetSolutions Certified Credential: MO State – Telecommunicator and the Frontline License: MO – Telecommunicator.
Because Missouri requires the Board to approve continuing education courses before they count toward license renewal, agencies have often had to double-check whether training would be accepted. With this approval, Missouri telecommunicators and their agencies can feel confident that the training they complete through Vector Solutions will count. The approval:
- Supports required continuing education: telecommunicators can complete all of their required training with these approved courses
- Reduces the risk of completing training that may not be accepted
- Helps agencies keep accurate compliance records and be ready for audits
- Expands access to flexible, high-quality online training
Missouri is the latest addition to Vector Solutions’ growing list of Dispatch accreditations, which also includes Georgia, Michigan, Mississippi, New Mexico, New York and Texas. Each new state brings the company closer to its goal of making approved training easy to find for emergency communications professionals everywhere.
“Telecommunicators work hard to keep their communities safe, and we want renewing their license to be the easy part,” said Mikayla Graves, Director of Compliance & Accreditation at Vector Solutions. “Every new state approval means more agencies can count on training that meets their requirements from day one.”
Vector Solutions does not report completions to the Missouri 911 Service Board. Telecommunicators and agency administrators are responsible for keeping proof of completion and providing it to the Board.
