Clamp Trucks – Preventing Paper Roll Damage

A roll clamp truck is similar to a forklift, but instead of forks, it has a special hydraulic clamp attachment for handling rolls of paper. Clamp trucks are essential for moving large paper rolls throughout the supply chain. From the time a roll of paper comes off the winder to when it is delivered to the converting equipment, which is often in a separate facility, a single roll can be handled as many as 15 times.
