Florida Laws and Rules for Electrical and Alarm Contractors Based on Published Florida Statutes
This course focuses on Florida Statute 555, the general provisions related to business and profession regulation including licensing, examination, penalties, and address of record, as well as Florida Statute 489, Part 2, regulation of professions and occupations relating to electrical and alarm system contracting, which will include definitions, renewals, alarm system agents, alarm confirmations, and audible alarms. This course also discusses Florida Administrative Code 61-G6 related to the electrical contractor licensing board, and will review items such as continuing education, disciplinary guidelines, burglar alarm system agents, and identification cards.
