Becoming a Leading Institution in Alcohol Prevention

Nearly 100 colleges and universities across the country have engaged with the ADI, a comprehensive, research-driven assessment of the programs and practices in place on a given campus. The ADI identifies strengths and areas for improvement across four core pillars of prevention: Institutionalization, Critical Processes, Policy, and Programming. Upon completion of the tool, schools receive a designation of Emerging, Developing, Proficient, or Advanced, as well as recommendations and best practice examples within each of the areas.

This document will highlight the policies and practices in place at advanced institutions. These schools have committed to the highest standards in alcohol prevention, paving a path for creating safer, healthier campus communities, and enabling us to provide a roadmap to help drive the change that every campus wishes to see.
